CONTINUING EDUCATION

Educational Affiliate Program

ACVS is accepting submissions for the 2026 Educational Affiliate program. See below for topics, benefits, and terms of the program. Applications are due by August 21, 2025.

ACVS Educational Affiliate Program

The American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) is thrilled to introduce the ACVS Educational Affiliate Program, a new initiative designed to significantly expand and enhance educational opportunities for our esteemed Diplomates and surgery residents in 2026.

Developed in direct response to identified educational needs within the veterinary surgical community, this program creates a dynamic bridge between ACVS and organizations dedicated to high-quality continuing education. Through a collaborative annual process, the ACVS Continuing Education Committee actively identifies critical topics and knowledge gaps based on comprehensive surveys, resident feedback, and Maintenance of Certification requirements for organizations to address through their educational offerings. This ensures that the educational offerings promoted through the program are precisely what ACVS Diplomates and surgery residents need most.

2026 Educational Affiliate Program

The deadline for submissions is August 21, 2025. Submissions will be evaluated and scored by the CEC on the following attributes: continuing education credits (RACE approved), description, learning objectives, faculty, introductory/advanced content, format, technical requirements to participate, and the benefit to ACVS Diplomates and/or surgery residents. Organizations will be notified of their selection status by September 17, 2025.
